Perfume bottle in watercolours

Hello, my lovely artist. Today I am here with an advance level tutorial on how to paint a realistic-looking glass bottle.

Many of you requested me to show you a transparent glass subject and here I am with a beautiful one this week.

This tutorial is challenging at two levels. One, it has glass in it and the other is the chrome detailing on top.

But I am sure that by following all the steps mentioned in this tutorial video you will be able to attend this realism in no time.

I would advise you all to not get overwhelmed by such subjects and instead have some patience and follow along with me.

The watercolors used are as follows:

1.   Cadmium orange

2.   Cadmium red

3.   Permanent rose

4.   Indigo blue

5.   Dioxazine purple

Brushes required: #0, #2, #4round brushes

Below is the reference image. I just fell in love with the peach colour of the perfume. It is quite fun to attain this colour by mixing pinks and oranges in various ratios.

For your ease, I have provided the drawing below so that you can enjoy the painting process rather than worrying about the drawing.

I would love to see your completed projects hence, feel free to email your artworks and I will surely give you my feedback on the same.

Art prints and other gift products of Miss Dior are also available for purchase at my online store.

I will soon see you with yet another challenging subject.

Till then happy painting!

Swati
