Hello everyone I am so excited to start this art blog. I have been thinking of it for a while now! And with the much-needed encouragement from my darling hubby I am finally here.
I was posting and sharing my work on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms but I somehow felt that due to the posting limits I was not able to share each and every aspect of my paintings. I feel that blogging will certainly help me put my thoughts together in a much consistent and organized way.
Now talking of the content I am going to post here. I have decided to make this a platform to share my painting and sketching techniques. I will still continue posting the progress images of my artwork on social media. And then I might compile all the pictures in a blog post to further explain the whole process in a step by step method.
As you might know, that I am basically a watercolor artist. Hence, my painting content will majorly be about watercolors. Also, I would love to explain a few of my sketches from the Sketch On Saturday series as well.
I will try to show you my methodology and thought behind the pieces I create. There is a lot which goes on in the mind before deciding to start an artwork, knowingly or unknowingly. So I will share my thoughts behind the work I do and the stories of my inspirations.
I would also love to share some of my life experiences related to art. Life is full of surprises and what’s better than sharing with lovely people like you. Every time I see a new comment on my post I really get motivated and I can’t wait to see the same happening here on my blog. I will need your encouragement more than ever!
This is going to be a new experience for me and I can’t express my feelings. I still consider myself a learner. I am by no means a perfectionist but yes I will try to share what I know.
Art is a learning each day. Every time I sit to paint I see it as a new beginning of my art journey. I see it as a start. I think I have a long way to go. The inspirations will keep coming and I hope I never stop.
I will be really happy if this platform encourages you to paint and sketch as well. I would love to see you guys be a part of my art journey. I want you to enjoy this process as much as I do. So here I am signing off with excitement and happiness. I will come back soon with another post. Till then…
